I have used and loved their planners and notebooks for years. Their sitewide sale goes from May 5th-12th. 30-75% off Select Books* - Evan-Moor is throwing a Summer Warehouse Sale through June 30. I saw some activity books as low as $1.00! Check out their selections while supplies last: PreK-K, 1st-2nd, and 3rd-6th. Crossway Books Discounts - If you are looking for Christian resources like Bible studies for kids or adults, Crossway's FREE Crossway+ Membership gives you 30% off books, 50% off audiobooks and ebooks, and free shipping over $30. They also have special promos for members. I'm planning to use this Bible story series with my kids next school year. 🧰 Teaching ToolsDraw the World - My kids and I recently tried out this book as a way to learn geography by actually drawing maps. My 1st and 3rd graders really enjoyed it (but my PreK kid gave up pretty quickly). This book is one in a series. I'll definitely be a repeat customer! Available at: Amazon* and RainbowResource. Cathy Duffy Reviews - If you're researching homeschool curriculum, Cathy Duffy has written hundreds (or thousands?) of curriculum reviews on this site. Although it looks somewhat dated, her search feature will help you curate a list of options based on your criteria. I was so grateful for this site when we first started homeschooling. 📚 On My BookshelfFor you, your kids, or read-alouds... King Midas and the Golden Touch* - I'm a sucker for a beautifully illustrated picture book. And K.Y. Craft draws the most stunning illustrations. I have several more of her books, including The Twelve Dancing Princesses, which was a childhood favorite of mine. Now I get to read these beautifully illustrated classics to my own kids. The Wind in the Willows* - I mentioned this book a couple weeks ago and wanted to do a quick follow-up. It is beautiful. I absolutely love the illustrations - and there are a lot of them. And my kids and I are enjoying it. BUT - I feel compelled to let you know that there has been a word or two that I decided to leave out while reading aloud to my kids. I know we all have differing views on what is appropriate for our kids to hear, so I just wanted to make you aware that they do use these words so you can decide: ass, fool, idiot, blithering, confounded, dash it, and bother. I actually asked "Grok" to make this list for me just so you can see the "strongest language" in the book. I hope this is helpful!! ✨ Just for FunOne of my kids at age five told me, "I know how germs hurt you. Some germs have swords and they hurt you and that is rude." 😂 I only know this because I wrote it down on my iphone notes app. Each of my kids has a note, and I try to jot down the funny things they say immediately - or else I forget. Baby books were such a great idea, but the notes app worked better for me. (And please don't think I have it "all together" - I forget to write down more than I actually get around to. But each one that I do is so precious. Also, you should see how messy my house is right now...) Do you have an easy way to keep track of the cute things your kids say? I'd love to hear - or I'd love to hear some of your favorite things they've said!! Blessings, Emily emily@teachertutormom.com P.S.
